~Weekly Forecast 10-22-17~

October 22, 2017 - Daily Forcast / Uncategorized

Good Afternoon Southern Wisconsin,

It feels like more of a Spring day than a Fall day with the on and off rain showers. The cold front has passed the area and any showers that around should be out of here by 8-10pm or so.  We may clear out just a bit late tonight which will allow temps to drop to the low 40s.

Monday/Monday Night: We may start out with some partly sunny skies, but clouds should be on the increase by the afternoon as another strong cold front approaches. High temps should get to about 60. Showers will move in sometime in the afternoon or evening. Showers become likely overnight. Lows will drop to just the low 40s so no chance of snow.

Tuesday/ Tuesday night: Showers will remain likely through early afternoon and you will feel a cool down as high temps will only reach the mid 40s. NW winds will be very strong with sustained winds at 15-20mph and gusts to 35mph. If the clouds clear out early enough we should drop to the low to mid 30s for temps at night. This will lead to some frost issues. NW winds 10-15mph with gusts to 25mph.

Wednesday/ Wednesday night: Rain or snow showers will be possible in the morning hours before 10am. No snow accumulation is likely, but if we get a quick burst of snow it may reduce visibility for the morning commute. Any snow will change to all rain by the afternoon.  Highs will eventually make it to around 50.  It will become partly cloudy by the evening with evening lows dropping to the mid 30s.

Thursday/ Thursday night: Mostly sunny a bit warmer with highs in the mid 50s.  Clouds roll back in at night and temps will drop to around 40.

Friday: Rain showers possible with highs in the mid 40s.

Summary: This week looks to be on and off wet with our first real shot of a frost. We may even see a quick snow flake or 2 for Wednesday morning. By next weekend we could see our first freeze and also more rain/snow mix chances. No big snow chances through next weekend.

Have a good week and keep dry!
