~Weekly Forecast 10-15-17~
Good evening everyone,
Well we didn’t get the flash flooding rains of 2+” or the severe thunderstorms that were possible. Usually those two go hand and hand. We lucked out. I still collected .78″ overall from the storm system from Friday afternoon into late last night. It was still a decent rain. We had an incredible temp drop overnight as well. We reached today’s high of 66 degrees at 12:57am and were down to 46 degrees by 9am. It was a pretty windy and cool day. This cool weather lasts for just 2 days.
Tonight: We will see clouds early then some gradual clearing overnight. Temps should drop to about 37-39 degrees. This won’t warrant a frost advisory for most of us except north of Madison. We could still see some patchy frost. By this time of the year we shouldn’t be worried about the frost since it is mid October. West winds of 5-10mph possible.
Tomorrow: We will start out cool with temps in the 30s and possible frost. It will be sunny and cool with highs in the upper 50s. West winds again 5-10mph.
Monday night: It will be clear again and not as cold with temps dropping to the low to mid 40s. This will be thanks to the winds changing to the Southwest.
Tuesday: It will again be sunny and the Southwest winds will kick up to 10-20mph and that should bump us up to the mid 60s for temps.
Tuesday night: Clear and mid 40s.
Wednesday: Sunny and a bit more wind from the SW. Sustained winds of 10-20mph and gusts to 25mph. This will increase the temps to the upper 60s.
Wednesday night: Clear and mid 40s.
Thursday: Sunny and mid 60s. Winds will calm way down.
Thursday night: Clear and about 50 degrees.
Friday: Sunny and low 70s!
This week looks fabulous! Temps will be on the increase over the week after starting out quite cool. Next chance of rain comes Saturday night into Sunday.
The S word is SUN and also SEVENTIES!
